A Spiritual Home for Deepening Faithful Service

UPDATE: On February 10, 2024 Three Rivers was set off as a Monthly Meeting in Salem Quarter, NEYM. We find ourselves, at this moment, in a liminal space. Liminal comes from the Latin word limen, meaning threshold. In the discipline of anthropology, liminality is the quality of disorientation that occurs in the middle stage of a rite of passage, a life transformation: when participants have not yet begun the transition to the status they will hold when the rite is complete. The process experienced was, like many rites of passage, disorienting. As is our way - we are moving at the speed of capacity: tending to the spaciousness of this transition is important. We seek to attend to who and how we are becoming, to re-ground in the clear invitation and intention of the Leading that is Three Rivers so that we may move forward fully oriented to the Spirit of Love and Life. Join us for worship and in this journey of becoming Beloved Community!

Welcome to Three Rivers Meeting!

Three Rivers is a Queer, Christian, Quaker experience of worship and community.
We are working to reclaim and reinterpret Quaker practices for our current times.

We are a spiritual community for those looking to ground their lives and service with others committed to support, accountability, and deepening in faithfulness. We nurture ministry; we are an unapologetically Queer community;  we seek to practice radical hospitality, welcoming diverse theologies and identities. This means you are welcome. You are welcome if you are Queer, or not. You are welcome if you are Christian, Universalist, or of another wonderful theological orientation. You are welcome.

You can read more about some of our values and practices in our Circles Document.
This ministry is in sibling relationship with Fresh Pond Monthly Meeting in Cambridge, MA.
